How do young people live in Denmark?
What about youth unemployment in Italy?
Why do you work as an volunteer in Tyrol?
Did you make new friends here?
Students from Tyrolean schools had a lot of questions to the small group of 5 European Volunteers from Denmark, Italy, Estonia, Bosnia and Hungary.
In December 2011 they carried out several workshops – organized by InfoEck, Youth Information Center Tyrol – in schools promote the Youth in Action programme and get in contact with Tyrolean youngsters . Several topics as volunteering, possibilities for young people in Europe, education, language, challenges for young generation in our countries, youth information etc. have been covered within these workshops in Innsbruck, Imst and Landeck. Beside interesting discussions and intercultural activities Mette, Elena, Maria, Nadja and Raul had a lot of fun with the students and could also practice their German.
What did they learn in that week with InfoEck – Youth Information Center? Getting to know the work of an youth information center, planning of workshops in team work, talking in front of a lot of people, motivating youngsters to go abroad, being creative and practizing German language, they summarized a the end.
Thanks to Mette, Raul, Elena, Maria and Nadja for their good energy, openness and effort they put into this week!
